Halloween is quickly approaching and if you are getting ready to decorate your front yard for Halloween, you may be wondering how to make some authentic looking grave stones.
To transform your yard into a cemetery, start with several large, rectangular pieces of Styrofoam. You should round the corners at the top using a knife. Then spray paint the Styrofoam grey. You may have to apply several coats for a complete coating. Then write epitaphs on the “stones” using a thick, black permanent marker.
To make them stand up, you can attach the bottoms of the Styrofoam to wood boards using strong glue. If you are not opposed to digging up your yard, you can dig down deep enough so that the grave stones are buried in the ground.
This is a very authentic way of transforming your yard into a cemetery. Have fun with your Halloween yard decorations this fall!
