Halloween Recipes For Quick And Easy Party Treats



Whenever Halloween comes around, the excitement of the season seems to be evenly balanced between getting a costume together, and attending any of the holiday parties that will be going on. For parents, and even working adults, the parties can also mean dusting off our favorite Halloween recipes, and whipping up some quick treats for everyone to enjoy. Just like with the costumes, the only limit for some of these recipes is your own imagination and creativity.

Unique Beverage Halloween Recipes

If you are going to be staging a Halloween party at home, then you will need plenty of beverage oriented Halloween recipes, guaranteed to make them think twice before dipping into the punch bowl. One popular recipe calls for orange juice, cranberry juice and mineral water in equal amounts. Mix it all together and pour into a large punch bowl. Called brain soup, the recipe also calls for either brain shaped candy or ice cubes to be scattered throughout the punch. You can also throw in tangerine slices for the same effect.

Called the Witches Brew, this Halloween recipes allows you to take dry ice chunks, layered at the bottom of any punch bowl, and pour equal parts of fruit juice and mineral water across them as you fill the punch bowl to the halfway point. This will create a sweet bubbling and smoking effect for as long as the dry ice lasts.

Cookies And Cupcakes

For Halloween recipes concerning cookies, just take your favorite recipes, and make the dough up beforehand. Grab a bunch of appropriate cookie cutters, and get to cutting and baking. Cookies can be made up at least a week ahead, frozen, and be good to go the day of the party. Cupcakes will need to be done the night before, so just grab your favorite cake mix and some black and orange icing. Add candies to the decorations for some added sweetness after finishing them off.
