A Harry Potter Halloween for Kids

If your little ones are going absolutely nuts for Harry Potter this year, then you can quickly turn their Halloween into a Harry Potter Halloween for kids! It's loads of fun, especially for older fans, and it's something that everyone can get into. Not to mention that you can also turn it into an opportunity to learn about new recipes as well! This is just an idea, however. Keep it in mind while you're planning out your Harry Potter Halloween for kids!

Quidditch

You can totally play Quidditch at your Harry Potter Halloween party. There are loads of different costumes that you can choose from—and they don't necessarily have to be exact replicas of the Halloween costumes. You have loads of things that you can use instead, including bath robes. You can even buy cheap tee shirts and pull out the puff paint. Whatever you have in mind, it's sure to delight the little ones! It's pretty awesome to watch them play the game as well! There's a free manual that you can find online if you check out the International Quidditch Association!

Great Hall/Sorting Hat

Then, you can add a Sorting Ceremony as well. This is definitely going to be the kid's favorite and will definitely make their Halloween. You can find a few quizzes online and then adapt a quiz from there. Don't hesitate to buy your own witches or wizards hat and then adapt it! Take the time to carefully make your decision—and take any “advice” (kind of like when Harry was saying “Not Slytherin...”) to heart while sorting them. This can be a lot of fun, if you play it right. Then, you can set up a giant table or two or three (okay, maybe small tables) with food on it! Keep this in mind while planning your Harry Potter Halloween for kids!
