Plants need a certain temperature to stay healthy in a home or business. The temperature should be around 62 degrees and 74 degrees for most plants. If you have a higher temperature in your area, the brighter the light should be as well to keep the plants in good shape. Interior plant maintenance can be hard to manage if the plants aren't in your home or in an area that you can control the temperature. If you want to keep the plants cool, put the pot on a pebble filled tray with water. Be sure not to put the pot directly in water though. You can also use a humidifier around the plants.
Choosing the right size pot for your plant is very important in the proper growth and well being of the plant. You wouldn't want a small pot for a plant that needs room to grow or it will be trapped and wont live to it's potential. There needs to be enough room for the soil and the plants roots for them to grow right. You should give the plant enough room and you will need to change the pot for the plant a few times if it is a big growing plant. Interior plant maintenance is a big deal if you want the plants to survive for a long time.
