Ideas For Halloween Parties

One of the ideas for Halloween parties is to demand that all attendees dress up in a costume. Then have a costume parade where the person with the funniest costume or unique costume wins a prize…perhaps a Photoshop picture of themselves that you printed out n your computer? So for this first of the ideas for Halloween parties you must make sure you have a camera that you can download pictures from into your computer. Also make sure you have some photo grade paper on hand to print the pictures out on. You could have everyone at the party sign the back of the picture as an added treat.

Specific Costume Requests

One of the second of the ideas for Halloween is when you send out the email invitations request they wear a costume in a specific category like a comic book character or an animal. Then hold a contest to judge who interpreted the idea best. Or set up games of charades. You can have endless fun playing charades in costume. This will bring new meaning to the word charades and to the game itself causing everybody who attends to have some fun and laugh a lot too.

What To Serve And Do?
You can have a lot of fun doing this. You can serve some fun finger foods or have people bring their favorite dish and have the invitations suggest ideas for Halloween foods or treats so everyone doesn’t bring the same foods. Decorate the table in Halloween colors. Hang orange and black streamers from the ceilings.  Let everyone bob for apples. Or melt some caramel and let people make caramel apples. For something different, set up several tables with Halloween themed jigsaw puzzles on them. Have all your guests participate in a contest to see who completes their puzzle first.

A Harry Potter Halloween for Kids

If your little ones are going absolutely nuts for Harry Potter this year, then you can quickly turn their Halloween into a Harry Potter Halloween for kids! It's loads of fun, especially for older fans, and it's something that everyone can get into. Not to mention that you can also turn it into an opportunity to learn about new recipes as well! This is just an idea, however. Keep it in mind while you're planning out your Harry Potter Halloween for kids!

Quidditch

You can totally play Quidditch at your Harry Potter Halloween party. There are loads of different costumes that you can choose from—and they don't necessarily have to be exact replicas of the Halloween costumes. You have loads of things that you can use instead, including bath robes. You can even buy cheap tee shirts and pull out the puff paint. Whatever you have in mind, it's sure to delight the little ones! It's pretty awesome to watch them play the game as well! There's a free manual that you can find online if you check out the International Quidditch Association!

Great Hall/Sorting Hat

Then, you can add a Sorting Ceremony as well. This is definitely going to be the kid's favorite and will definitely make their Halloween. You can find a few quizzes online and then adapt a quiz from there. Don't hesitate to buy your own witches or wizards hat and then adapt it! Take the time to carefully make your decision—and take any “advice” (kind of like when Harry was saying “Not Slytherin...”) to heart while sorting them. This can be a lot of fun, if you play it right. Then, you can set up a giant table or two or three (okay, maybe small tables) with food on it! Keep this in mind while planning your Harry Potter Halloween for kids!
