Twilight Costumes Made Easy

If you're looking for a quick and easy Twilight costumes—you don't have to look any further! Contrary to popular belief, Twilight costumes are actually some of the easiest that you can choose from! In fact, it really doesn't matter what you look like—anyone can pull it off! Just pick out your favorite character and from there start making your costume! You will need makeup (even if you're a guy. It might sound a bit odd, but bear with it; it'll make more sense later.), including foundation and brown eyeshadow. You will also need clothes—check a picture and go from there. You will also need cosmetic glitter. The reason for cosmetic glitter (or body glitter is another option for Twilight costumes) is that it is made for sticking on the skin and isn't quite as bad as getting regular glitter in your eye. In other words, use it.

Makeup

For makeup for Twilight costumes, you need to completely wash out your face using a lighter foundation. Don't go white—just use something cheap (NYC makes a three dollar foundation. It's not half bad for a regular makeup routine either, albeit being too yellow...) that's a few shades lighter than your skin tone and make sure to mattify it with powder. For Twilight costumes, you don't want a dewy look. You want to look “carved out of stone” and if you look, besides the glitter, they were all pretty matte in the movies.

Next, use the brown eyeshadow in your crease (feel around the socket of your eye. Right over your eyeball is where your orbital bone is (directly underneath that/directly above your eye is your crease) and only in the crease. This helps to make your eyes look a bit deeper. You don't want to go too dark—it shouldn't look like you're really wearing makeup. Next, use a neutral/raspberryish color on your lips. Your lips need a bit of color, like the vampires have. This is an important thing to remember about Twilight costumes. Also, make sure that your eyebrows are plucked and groomed beforehand....Then, gently put body glitter all over your body, face, and other visible skin. Be careful around the eye area. Body glitter might be fine...but it still hurts to have it in your eye. No one needs  red eye for their Twilight costume!

Clothing

Clothing for Twilight costumes is super easy. All that you have to do is watch what they wore in the movies and then adapt it from there. It's easy to create Twilight costumes...you just have to have a mind to do so! What Twilight costumes do you have in mind?
